The Peugeot RCZ (2010-2015) arrived at a time when French design in the sports coupe segment was long overdue - and it delivered spectacularly. The double-bubble glass roof, wide rear haunches, and sculpted flanks were the work of a design team that understood how to make a front-wheel-drive car look genuinely exotic. Under the skin, the 1.6-litre THP engine in 156 hp or 200 hp specification gave the RCZ genuine driver appeal, and the optional 270 hp THP variant in the RCZ R matched performance to the show. The interior is narrow and deliberately coupe-intimate, with a twin-cockpit dashboard layout that puts the driver centre stage. These LED door sill plates are cut for the RCZ's low-slung coupe door apertures - stainless steel, bright-white LED illumination activated automatically on door open, adding a premium sports accent to the RCZ's already distinctive character.
