The Rivian R1T holds a place in automotive history: it was the world's first mass-produced all-electric pickup truck to reach customers. Built on the same skateboard platform as the R1S SUV, the R1T adds pickup-specific utility - a unique lockable gear tunnel between the cab and the bed, a front trunk adding 11 cubic feet of lockable frunk storage, and a composite bed designed to take real punishment. Dual-motor and quad-motor configurations are available; the max-spec version produces up to 835 hp and reaches 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. The interior steps away from the spartan working truck tradition: oak wood trim, a large central display, and material choices that put it closer to a Range Rover Sport than a traditional Ford or RAM pickup. These LED door sill plates are cut for the R1T's cab door apertures - stainless steel, bright-white LED strip, automatic activation on door open.
