Match the Mercedes body code first. Then choose a documented finish, lettering design, set and connection plan for the exact product.
Start with the model, generation and body
Choose the Mercedes model, body code and year before choosing a finish or lettering. A C-Class saloon, estate and coupe can use different door openings even when the model name is shared. Keep C-Class W204 separate from the C-Class coupe collection, and choose W164 or W166 before selecting an M-Class kit.
Open the matching product and compare its listed years, plate dimensions and shape with the usable flat metal area on the vehicle. Measure the rear thresholds too when selecting a front-and-rear set. A shared registration year does not settle the body-code match.

Two finish examples, each tied to its own vehicle
These are separate Maybach product examples, not a confirmed Stainless/Matte PRO pair for one vehicle. Use each product page for its own fitment, dimensions, construction and light zones; do not use the W176 example to establish W164 compatibility.
W176 Stainless
The exact listing is for Mercedes-Benz A-Class W176, 2012–2018. It uses stainless-steel construction; the optional Black Raptor surface is a coating over that construction. Its listed light areas are the Maybach lettering, top light bars and side edge.
W164 Matte PRO
The exact listing is for Mercedes-Benz M-Class W164, 2005–2011. It lists body colours BLACK, WHITE, RED, GREEN, YELLOW, BLUE and ORANGE, with lighting selected separately. Only the Maybach lettering on the top surface illuminates.
Choose the lettering, including Maybach
Maybach is the inscription shown on these exact product listings. It does not turn an A-Class kit into an S-Class kit or establish compatibility with a Mercedes-Maybach vehicle. Select the model and body first, then choose the design that is available for that product.

“OEM style” describes the lettering treatment. These are aftermarket door sills, not original Mercedes-Benz parts.
Choose FRONT or FRONT+REAR
FRONT means the front pair. FRONT+REAR adds rear plates. Check the selected Set option instead of counting plates in a catalogue image.
W176 and W164
Both exact Maybach examples list FRONT and FRONT+REAR. Select the coverage that matches the thresholds you measured.
C204 coupe example
The C-Class Coupe C204 Stainless Maybach listing is for 2011–2015 and supplies FRONT only. It does not establish fitment for a C-Class saloon or estate.
Check the threshold and wiring
The Mercedes product listings describe adhesive mounting on a prepared flat metal threshold. Compare length, width and shape before removing the adhesive liner. Clean and dry the surface, position the plates, and plan a route beneath the trim that does not pinch the cables.
- ConnectionConnect the positive and negative wires to a suitable vehicle circuit activated when the door opens.
- Wiring expectationWiring is required; the W164 Matte PRO listing does not include a factory plug-and-play connector.
- Product boundaryDo not assume the sill replaces an original plastic trim piece or uses an existing illuminated-sill socket.
If the correct connection points are unclear, have a qualified installer review the exact vehicle.

The current form does not upload image files. If you have a reference image, attach it to the email reply. The team must confirm that the inscription can be made for the selected kit before you order; a custom request does not establish vehicle fitment.

Does a picture of four plates mean rear plates are included?
Use the selected Set option and product description. A FRONT-only product supplies the front pair even when another design image shows rear plates.
Can I order a Maybach design for a model I cannot find?
Ask about the model and kit before ordering. The body, dimensions and available construction need confirmation; choosing an inscription alone does not establish fitment.
