Installation and Wiring

Plates attach to the metal door threshold using high-bond automotive adhesive. Wiring runs to a door-activated interior circuit at the B-pillar loom or fuse box — on the A4 B8 (2007–2016) both options give a clean, concealed result. Illumination triggers on door open and shuts off automatically on close.
