Installation and Wiring

Plates install to the metal door sill surface using high-bond automotive adhesive. On the A6, wiring integrates cleanly at the B-pillar loom or interior fuse panel — the broader sill profile of the executive platform gives good clearance for routing. Illumination activates on door open and cuts on close.
