These LED door sill plates mount on the flat metal threshold using automotive-grade adhesive — bonded to the metal, not the plastic surround. Wiring connects to a door-activated interior circuit for automatic illumination. The connection is typically made at the B-pillar loom or interior fuse box for the cleanest result.
