LED illuminated door sill plates featuring the Type R logo — for the Honda Civic 3D (2006–2012) in its Type R specification. The Type R badge is Honda's performance designation, applied to models tuned for maximum track performance with a focus on naturally aspirated engine output, reduced weight, and suspension precision. The Civic VIII Type R used a 2.0-litre VTEC engine producing 201 horsepower, paired with a six-speed close-ratio gearbox and a front-wheel-drive chassis tuned at the Nürburgring. The Type R badging appears throughout the cabin including the door sill area, seat headrests, and instrument cluster as part of the performance model differentiation from standard Civic variants.
