Car Club and Project-Car Door Sill Design Ideas
A club or project identity can be more meaningful than a trim badge, but it still needs clear hierarchy and exact vehicle information.
Six useful directions
- Club mark plus chapter name. Keep the location secondary.
- Workshop logo plus a short build code. Avoid contact details in the illuminated area.
- Project title. A concise name often reads better than a long slogan.
- Driver initials and build date. Use a simple separator.
- Memorial dedication. Keep the message respectful and short.
- Logo plus one phrase. Choose which should dominate before the proof is made.

Create a hierarchy before adding detail
Choose one dominant element, such as the club emblem or project title. Put the chapter, date or driver initials in a secondary role. If the available plate is narrow, remove detail instead of compressing everything. Review both plates because a four-piece kit may use shorter rear sections.
Do not call an independently chosen graphic original equipment. The design can be inspired by the car, club or build without making a factory-origin claim.
What to send for review

- Whether the source is a normal metal sill or an OEM insert.
- Desired Stainless or Matte PRO finish, if published for the application.
- Plate count and left/right arrangement.
- Artwork you have the right to reproduce.
- Exact spelling, capitalization and preferred hierarchy.
