Will an LED License Plate Badge Fit Your Car?
Designed for standard US-size 12 × 6 in license plates. Badge dimensions: 304.8 × 177.4 × 9 mm. Check that the plate recess has enough clearance for the badge. Electrical connection is required.
Measure the plate and the body space separately
The intended plate measures 12 × 6 inches, or 304.8 × 152.4 mm. The plastic badge body measures 304.8 × 177.4 × 9 mm. Use the larger body measurements when checking the recess, and allow extra depth for your plate, fasteners and any existing holder.
Make a clearance checklist
- Measure the available width and height around the mounting position.
- Check the space below the plate, where the illuminated design appears.
- Look for a camera, trunk release, trim lip, plate light or curved surface that could interfere.
- Check that the plate remains readable and that you can use the trunk or tailgate handle.
- Compare the existing mounting holes and mounting depth with the badge and supplied installation information.
