Which Mercedes body code should you match before choosing an illuminated door sill? Start with the model family, body code, generation, listed year range and threshold shape. The Mercedes-Benz GLC X253 example below shows that workflow. Every order still needs a vehicle-specific match.

A familiar name such as GLC, C-Class or E-Class does not identify one universal sill outline. Treat each catalogue title as a product-specific review path.

The GLC description also calls for an electrical connection and adhesive mounting on a prepared painted-metal threshold. Plan the wire route with the vehicle instructions.
