Installation and Wiring

These door sill plates are installed on the flat metal threshold of the vehicle using strong automotive-grade double-sided adhesive. They are not designed to replace factory plastic trims. Once fitted correctly to the metal surface, they stay fixed securely for everyday use.

The lighting is connected to a door-activated power source inside the vehicle - ideally through a fuse or an interior lighting circuit - so the illumination turns on when the door opens and stays off when the door is closed.
