What If Your Model Isn’t Listed? Requesting Custom Door Sills
Send a fitment request with your vehicle details, measurements and threshold photographs. An unlisted model needs a geometry review before the team can confirm whether a suitable set can be made.
Check the catalog’s model names first
Search by make, model and generation or chassis code if you know it. The same vehicle may use a different market name, while one model name can cover several body styles. If you find a possible match, include its link in the request and explain the naming difference.
A badge carrying your model name uses its own artwork; corresponding door sills still need a vehicle-specific shape in the catalog.
Prepare a fitment request
- List make, model, year, generation or chassis code, body style and market.
- Photograph the open doorway and the intended flat painted metal area.
- Measure usable length and width before any bend or plastic trim.
- Provide separate rear measurements if you want rear plates.
- Describe any aftermarket trim or obstruction that changes the mounting area.
Use the measurement guide to keep the dimensions clear. Do not remove trim or alter the vehicle to complete an initial request. A wider photograph often explains a shape that a close-up alone cannot.
Choose the design after the shape review
You can mention the desired finish, lighting and artwork in the request, but the team must establish a suitable plate shape first. Matte PRO is not a workaround for an unsuitable Stainless construction. A request may need more photographs or a different set configuration, and some layouts may not be feasible.
Wait for the confirmed product and order details
The form starts a fitment review for an unlisted model. Confirm the shape, set, design, price and current production information before payment. Choose the confirmed geometry instead of relying on an order note to change another model’s plate.
