LED Door Sill Troubleshooting: What to Check Before Contacting Support
Record what happens, which plate is affected and when the problem started. Limit your own checks to normal controls and visible conditions. Leave circuit measurements, trim removal and electrical repairs to a qualified installer if you cannot perform them safely.

Stop using it if there is a safety warning
Stop using the accessory if you notice unusual heat, a burning smell, smoke, exposed wiring or a vehicle electrical warning. Arrange a safe inspection. Do not keep cycling the light, replace a fuse with a larger one, or bypass a protective device to make it operate.
Record the symptom without changing the installation
| Symptom | Useful information for support |
|---|---|
| No light | One plate or the whole set; whether it ever worked; selected static or Flow option |
| Light stays on | Which door was used and how long you observed it after closing |
| Flicker or intermittent light | Whether normal door movement changes the symptom; visible cable damage |
| Unexpected color or control | The ordered variant, phone/app details for Flow, and the displayed setting |
| Lifting plate | A wide mounting-area photo and a close view of the lifted edge |
A light that stays on may relate to the chosen circuit or its normal delay. A flicker can have more than one cause. These observations narrow the diagnosis; an inspection identifies the failed component.
Prepare a small evidence set
Send the order number, product name and installation date if known. Add a whole-doorway photo, a clear view of the affected area and one short video showing the symptom under normal use. Avoid dismantling the assembly solely to obtain a photograph. Your installer can supply measurements or connection details when support asks for them.
Keep the approved configuration intact
Do not cut the plate, open the light assembly or try unverified power sources. Follow the current warranty and claim instructions, and send the evidence with your claim so support can assess repair or replacement.
