How to Choose Acura LED Door Sills
Choose Acura LED door sills in five checks: vehicle identity, threshold evidence, exact listing, set and artwork, then wiring instructions.
Start with a five-part brief
Send the vehicle details and clear doorway photos together when asking LDS to confirm a product. The steps below answer the practical choice question without borrowing dimensions or artwork from another Acura model.
1. Write the vehicle identity
Record model, generation or chassis, body style and year. Do not substitute MDX, RDX, TLX, TSX or another Acura because the badge looks similar.
2. Photograph and measure the threshold

5. Plan the wiring from the instructions
Both product descriptions identify a wired electrical connection and a door-activated circuit. Identify the connection point and route beneath trim from the exact instructions; do not infer details from another model.
Use the RDX visual to check the light zones
The on/off pair below shows the same RDX III doorway view. It helps separate visible artwork from illumination; it is not a brightness measurement or a customer installation.
The RDX description says only the top lettering illuminates; the colour-matched edge and lower surface remain unlit. Keep that light-zone description with the RDX listing.

The MDX listing separately identifies its YE1 model, MDX artwork, COLOR, SET and STYLE options, plus a flat painted entry threshold and wired electrical connection.
Do not use the MDX product as a dimension or artwork substitute when the recipient owns an RDX, TSX, TLX or another Acura.
